Technical Author & Training Instructor



Our client is looking to recruit a Technical Author & Training Instructor to write technical publications and deliver training courses in support of the Publications and Training Group





Key accountabilities and responsibilities:



1. To create and write technical publications using a sound knowledge and understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems

2. To create and write technical publications using proprietary software e.g. Microsoft office and Adobe FRAMEMAKE and Photo shop

3. Produce, maintain and ensure the timely delivery of technical operation and maintenance manuals

4. To write, maintain and modify Engineering Advice Notes and Product improvements notices

5. To update and assist with the control of documentation

6. To create, write and deliver technical training courses

7. To create, modify and maintain training templates and style guides

8. To undertake any other duties or tasks as and when required as requested by a member of the management team



Education:

Ideally candidates should be educated to at least HNC level in Electronic or Electrical Engineering coupled with a strong knowledge of Mechanical & Hydraulic systems.



Hours:

Day Shift 37.5 hours per week



Salary Range

£30-£35K



Other Notes:

Candidates must be willing to undertake both national and international travel
