Quality Technician



My client is a mechanical manufacturer based in the Portsmouth area; they are currently recruiting a Quality Technician.



Experience and Skills required…



 HNC or above within an engineering or mechanical discipline

 Able to use precision measuring equipment to measure purchased and in-house manufactured parts

 Must be able to read engineering drawings

 Background in Precision Tooling, Aerospace/Aviation industry, Aircraft technician, or similar

 Experience of carrying diagnostics and fault finding

 Experience within an area of quality i.e. quality inspector, quality technician, etc.



The Role…



 You would be working on your own initiative however you would have the support of Quality Engineers.

 This role would be office and shop floor based depending on requirements of the role

 Using internal systems to measure the quality of products, analyse test failure reports

 Fault finding and diagnostics on faulty products

 Disassembly of products

 Deal with calls and queries from customers with regards to quality issues, complaints, and faulty parts

 Raise reports and communicate non-conformance to suppliers, ensure accurate feedback to suppliers

 This is a permanent role and you would be working days Monday to Friday.

 alary is £22’000 to £25’000 per annum plus excellent benefits (pension scheme, medical, free parking, opportunities for future career progression)
